PCHS Super Stars Dedicated to our furry friends who have gone on to bigger and better....

"Maxwell"
Maxwell wasn’t always the big TV star that he is today. Maxwell was once unwanted and unloved. He first came to Perry County Humane society sick, skinny, missing a toe and with heartworms. Heartworms are pesky little worms that live in dogs’ hearts that are spread through being bit by mosquitoes. With lots of food, a toe surgery and heartworm treatments we were able to make Maxwell 100% again. Through all the suffering Maxwell was able to keep a sweet and even tempered disposition. His calm and loving personality spoke volumes and we knew he had something bigger in store. His chance came when he was adopted by a loving family and became the co-host and sidekick to Brenda Walsh, the host of Kids Time on the Three Angels Broadcasting Network. Through the power if television Maxwell gets to share with children love for all of Gods creatures and be the perfect ambassador for shelter dogs all over the country. Way to go Max!
"Susie"
Susie was adopted to the Saint Annes Healthcare Center in 2007. Everyday Susie gets to share her love and affections with members of the nursing home who are unable to have their own pets with them. Great job Susie!
