Success Stories
Dawn and everyone there, thanks you very much for saving this little guy. We love him and he appears to return the feeling.

Thank you again,
Joyce

Hi!  Remember me?  I was number 13 rescued out of that nasty house in
Pinckneyville about a year ago.  My mom wanted me to send some pictures of
me now so you can see how much I've grown!  I weigh a whole 4 pounds now!
Mom says I'm about a year old.  She started out calling me Peanut but Dad
re-named me Buster Brown.  That seemed to stick.  One picture is me coming
out of my favority hidey hole.  I'm about to attack my brother Scooter.

I wanted to say Hi to Dawn and Tammie and all my other friends at PCHS.
Mom wanted me to let you know she's put a check in the mail to you from me
to help other dogs that aren't as lucky as me.  Mom says I'm a spoiled
brat, whatever that means!  And she said to tell you Thanks because I'm the
best thing that ever happened to her.

Love,
Peanut Buster Brown Wade

Just wanted to let you know that Tony is a GREAT dog :)
I love him very much and I am so glad we found him :)

We adopted a dog last August - a peke mix - named Sammy. I met someone in Springfield to meet him, picked him up and brought him home where he has become a much-loved pet! We changed his name to Zeus, and he loves everyone in the household - though he takes a while to warm up to strangers! We recently adopted a friend for him - a purebred peke named Trixie. I have attached a photo of Zeus and Trixie taken two months ago. Just wanted you to know he is a happy dog!

We adopted Oreo in July of 2004.  He is the perfect pet for our family.  I came across this photo and thought I would share it with you.  Thank you so much!

Hello Everyone! Just thought we'd send you an update on how Apollo is! He's doing very well! We couldn't have found a better dog, we see why he was one of your favorites! We started obedience classes 3 weeks ago and he's doing pretty good. He's so funny, you know when he doesn't want to do something because when you ask him to, he turns his head and looks the other way, it's a silent no! He gets along very well with the other dogs, and he just goes to the back bedroom every Tuesday after class and passes out cold because he's so worn out! There are 2 pictures attached, one of Apollo with some of his many toys, and one of him with C.W. Well, that's about all for now, we'll keep you posted on Apollo and all of his adventures!

Take care, Cassie, Ryan, and Apollo

Dixie has been with us now for over three months and every day our love for her grows. She has established herself as a regular member of the family quite nicely. We couldn't have asked for a better dog.

You see the Dixie before when we first got her.
Now see the Dixie now. She is growing up. She loves to play stick, tug of war, and fetch her rope toy. She lovessssssssssssssssss liver treats. She'll doing anything for them.

Thanks from a satisfied adopter.

Hi Everyone,

Just thought we'd send a picture of Damon. Damon settled in very well. His best friend is our other new family member named Bud. He loves to chew up toys and play, play, play! At bedtime, he knows that means it's time for a special treat and sleeping in the big bed with his Gram and two of his siblings. He's not a barker but he does smile a lot. He loves playing and running in the big backyard with Bud. We're so happy that Damon loves us and has become such an important part of our family. Merry Christmas!!!

Weber

Hi there! I'm just sending a message to update you on Weber (that's the urgent pup/ridgeback's new name) and show you how he is doing. We love him...he is such a good dog! He is very well behaved and so fun to be around. He loves to go on walks and rides in the car. I even took him to the park today and he was off leash the entire time and stayed right with me. We have been taking him to the dog park too but that has been a little more of a challenge (he is a little scared with all the other dogs around) but he gets better every time we go.

I just wanted to send an update and say thank you for keeping him and taking such good care of him...he is a very happy dog!

Thanks again for all your help,

Sara, Scott, and Weber
